(OSM, Inc.) with the prestigious Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation on March 11 at the Texas State Capitol. Gov. Perry presented the award to Archdiocesan Director Rev. March 22 marks the end of the application period for college students wishing to pursue an eight-week historic preservation internship with the Texas Historical Commission (THC). In seeking to increase the diversity of professionals working in historic preservation, the internship is offered to students of African, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, or Native American/Hawaiian/Alaskan heritage who are Texas residents attending an accredited four-year college or university as graduate or undergraduate students.
